| Random rambling................................My three weeks away from school and two weeks away from work has officially gotten me lazy. It was good while it lasted....I started winter quarter today. My bold statement: I will do well. The start of a nw year has made me reflect on the previous year, 2007. I believe that 2007 was my biggest change.....a job, personal and financial circumstances (whether it may be good or bad). It was not until almost the end of the year was I able to experience what it was like to go to a concert.....haha...I went to 3. There are only 5 words to explain: IT WAS ALLLLLL WORTH IT!!! My, my, everyone seem to have graduated already.....and I'm still in school....kinda sucks but oh well. I can never stress enough on how lucky I am to be here on this place we call Earth......my life may not be glamorous materialistically or what not but I am rich in love, family, and friends. I would say more but I'll go on forever!.....soooo, I'll just stop. | | |
| ::sigh:: I am soooo happy. I got to see Wang Lee Hom in person on Sunday, 12.16. I went to his press conference and took some pictures. It was at Emperor Taste Restaruant in San Gabriel. I can't believe I was so close to him. It so sad that I wasn't able to shake his hand or get his autograph. It's all good though. Sophana got to shake his hands. I wish he was there longer. He only stayed for about an hour and a half. hehe...I'm getting ready to go to his concert today along with Jacky Cheung's in Las Vegas. Today is also the day of Jay Chou's autograph session in the Focus Plaza. Hopefully I could go. If not, oh wells. | | |
| | Your Eyes Should Be Green | Your eyes reflect: Striking attractiveness and danger
What's hidden behind your eyes: A vivid inner world |
| You Are Picky When it Counts | Like most sane women, you want a great guy who will treat you well. But you're also willing to put up with a few flaws in your Mr. Right You should congratulate yourself on having a realistic approach to dating. You probably have quite a few great guys you can date! |
| You Make a Great First Impression | You can handle almost any social situation with grace, even the tricky ones. Strangers often find you charming and interesting. You are often remembered fondly. Even if you're not naturally outgoing, you can make conversation with anyone if you need to.
Whether you were born this way or had to work to get here, you are definitely charismatic. You're popular and well liked. People definitely look forward to being around you. Your social connections bring you a full and rich life. You understand how important it is to make a lasting impression. |
| You Go For Brains! | You want a guy with a big... brain. And of course it would be nice if he were a total hottie, but you're not counting on it. What's on the inside is what counts for you. (Besides, you can always change the outside later!) |
| You Are Right Brained In Love | Bit of a drama queen Peacemaker, first to end a fight Good at thinking up creative dates Tend to fall in love and get hurt easily Going with your gut instead of your head Empathetic and caring, sometimes to a fault Good at recognizing patterns in relationships Been in love many times, perhaps too many to count Wildly passionate and intense when falling in love Spontaneous with relationships, going with the flow Overly visual - can play back past dates like movies in your mind Roses, love poems, and stuffed animals are a good start to winning your heart |

| June 28, 2007 is officially a special day for the family. It is the day when my cousin Darren and his wife welcomed their first child, Nathan. Congratulations! I am officially an aunt.....it's such a surreal feeling. Never would I have thought that my cousin will have a family of his own so fast. Nathan is the first of the 5th generation. It makes you appreciate life and how things can change even within a year. Time goes by so fast.....I'm getting older and there's so much to life I have always wanted to experience such as traveling the world and playing musical instruments. My committment to myself: TRAVEL and LEARN AT LEAST 2 MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. Ooooo....it's 12:30 in the morning already! I have to sleep...work at 6 am. Oh yea, the Rain concert was cancelled on Saturday. It was such a drag.....that would have been my first concert as well as Sophana. Oh wells.......hopefully Wang Lee Hom will have one so we could go! | | |
| So I'm on break from work right now....and so I came home. I just stumbled across an article about the first solar-powered cell phone. That is so neat! But, I wouldn't get one....tooooooo expensive.
We've seen the prototypes and heard the speculation for years now, but here we have it, the world's first solar cell phone, and you can buy one right now...if you happen to live in China.
HiTech Wealth telecommunications has just begun selling the S116 and the specs are pretty impressive. However, the $510 pricetag will have you wondering why you don't just get an iPhone. A 1.3 mpx camera, and an MP3 player are fairly standard additions to cell phones these days, but the solar panels do make this guy stand out.
The panels trickle-charge the battery in any amount of light, including indoors (or even by candlelight), and the battery life is 2.5 times longer than it would be without the panels. An hour of direct sunlight will give users 40 extra minutes of talk time.
While this first model is pretty exciting, HiTech Wealth will be releasing six more solar phones within the year and has promised 30 solar models before 2009.
